~DISASTER RELIEF TRAINING~

DISASTER RELIEF TRAINING Saturday, August 15 @ CCHC!!!

We are in great need of more volunteers MEN & WOMEN that are ready to respond to disaster situations in our area and beyond. The first step is basic Yellow Cap training which will take place from 8:00am to 11:00am. This is for all new volunteers as well as those who need to be re-certified. If you had Yellow Cap training before, but not within the last two years, you need to be re-certified. Also, to be certified, everyone needs some specialized training. We will offer two types following lunch. One will be for the Blue Tarp Unit which deploys to help weatherproof houses that have had roof damage. The other training will be for the Feeding Unit. This training will last until 5:00pm because of the food safety concerns involved in feeding people. We do need you to register for this training. Cost for the training is $25.00, which covers materials, badge, and lunch. Register at texasbaptistmen.org/Ministries/DisasterRelief/DRForms
